Few realities nowadays awake as many social, cultural, and economic expectations as information and communication technologies, whose applications and utilities have provoked a true revolution of the modes of living, working, and relating, giving place to that which has been called a Society of Information, in surroundings moving towards a Society of Knowledge.
We are conscious that we will find ourselves on the threshold of a historic process in which an ample set of opportunities converge in a superb form with the capacity to provide the human being with better accomplishments, both material and spiritual.

The transformations that this revolution brings with it have a global reach and are capable of eliminating distances, reaching new frontiers, and realizing previously impossible objectives. The new technologies, in a way, make reality of the saying “it’s a small world”. Precisely for that reason, the Society of Information equips all of its participants with the capacity, until now reserved for few, to influence, inform, learn, know, and above all, create. Increasingly, the tendencies of the diverse scope of human actions, the successes, and the failures have innumerable sources. In this fashion, from the farthest location, the most anonymous person can undertake initiatives with unthinkable results.
We are moving in a context in which even the different divisions of the multinationals, traditionally united in pursuit of their objectives, compete among themselves to move towards the country where the technological innovations are located. It is only an example of the fundamental importance that information technology possesses that are- paraphrasing the poet- loaded with the future.
There exist in the world some places that have been elevated as points of excellence and technological expansion. None of these are found in Europe however the generation of opportunities for our development happens to assume a clear leadership in the scope of the society of information.
We believe that this country is plenty capable of gathering that witness and providing that pole of reference that assumes, at a European level, the mentioned and necessary leadership. We propose as an ideal place for many reasons, one of its most representative cities, the city of Malaga.
Club Malaga Valley e-27 wants to be the pioneer of that purpose, the platform that gathers all the forces in order to obtain that this city will be an example of compromise between information technologies and an emitting and receiving point of ideas and innovations. |

 Its utilities constitute an opportunity to generate enriched, sustainable, creative, and expansive social dynamics. The Society of Information is object and fundamental agent in public politics and initiatives of the civil society fit in the R&D formula. Not in vain, we are moving towards a society of knowledge, which is different from previous periods of history due to its characteristic dynamism and potential for expansion and evolution. |

 In the effective development of the society of information resides in great measure, the key for the future sustainable economic knowledge. To do without, or to conform to only a minimum part of it, is to renounce well-being. All of the indicators confirm that in the current economic context, the effort of investment in new technologies results as a strategic objective. The countries that are the most productive and that have most economic knowledge are those that in the last years have dedicated great efforts to technological development. In Spain the sector of information technology is gradually increasing its importance as part of the national product. But, it is not sufficient. According to the latest statistics, in the scope of the EU, our country can be found among the last positions. This distance from the best economies has to be escaped if we want to maintain the objective of creating the most competitive society, generating well-being and prosperity throughout the world. |

 The Society of Information arranges and will arrange instruments and options with enormous capacity to give global form to opportunities of social, cultural, and economic development, regardless of place of origin. Any person; any place of the world can enrich and contribute to the development of the Society of Information. More than great resources, ideas are lacking. Malaga wants to be a focus of generation and attraction of those ideas that serve as a point of reference for technological development, especially in Spain and Europe. This development depends greatly on its capacity to compete in a globalized economy. |
